5 Ways to get on point after the holidays

We could use some time to get back on track after this holiday rush. First we had Christmas and then New Year's. It has been a very long haul for me but here are 5 tips to help you get back on track.

1. Redevelop your bedtime routine. Try to do this as soon as possible to get your body back into the routine.

2. Avoid the sugar rush. Foods with high sugar content may cause your glucose levels to rise and drop to fast. Be sure to limit your daily intake of high carbohydrates.

3. Laugh. Laughter is by far the best medicine that is for free. Watch and old movie or call a friend.

4. Meditation. Try to find a quiet area that you can concentrate in to meditate. Sometimes, I have to get in a quiet area and listen to soft music.

5. Work out. Moving your body with walking, exercising or grooving to a nice song can help relax tired muscles.
